    TDS Telecom is seeking a Business Sales Consultant and offering a $1,000 sign-on Bonus to join our team. The Business Sales Consultant will handle inbound and outbound calls to both current and potential customers.

    Responsibilities

     As a Business Sales Consultant you will:

     

    • Call on and receive calls from both current and potential business customers, consulting and advising on TDS Telecom business products and services.
    • Have a great mix of 50% inbound calls and 50% outbound calls to existing customers.
    • Drive new customer acquisition (We provide you with qualified leads).
    • Be in an independent role with strong support from your supervisor, training department, and marketing department.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • 1+ years telecommunications OR sales experience.
    • 2+ years’ experience using a PC with various software package.
    • Must follow the TDS attendance guidelines to meet our customers’ needs

    Other Qualifications

    • Self-motivated and comfortable accepting responsibility for achieving defined sales targets.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, oral and written.
    • Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships.
    • Advanced sales and/or customer service skills a plus.
    • Ability to adapt to rapid change and fast-paced environment while incorporating time management skills.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, as well as SABRE, DESI, MetaSolv, Cobra, and all customer information systems.
