The OSP Construction Coordinator will provide coordination on a national scale with a specific emphasis around OSP Construction and the impacts to our Permitting Officials and our end Customers; this will include being the liaison / single source for any type of “complaint” issue that gets escalated for resolution.  This position should also be able to act as a liaison to understand and be able to deliver the status of OSP construction throughout its life.  They will need to be able to follow the status of any OSP project large or small to understand how to first investigate and then to resolve the complaints / issues in a matter agreeable to all parties involved.  The position will provide support to the OSP Teams and FS from the Pre-Construction meeting through construction completion and sometimes beyond into the Construction Warranty period.  The goal for this position is to be the primary source for any adjacent teams (FS, MSCO, Customer Repair, GRA, & PR) to feed into when outside complaints arise.

This position will document and track all issues through completion / resolution and provide preemptive status updates or as required.   This can be via direct reach / interaction with the Construction Teams and or the Contractor themselves.  The position should have or will develop an OSP Construction background and should be able to investigate and interpret the OSP Contract language and any Unit Definitions to understand what the Contractor is responsible for and what they are not. This position can include time in the field meeting with Permitting Officials, end Customers and Contractors.   This includes monitoring both scope, budget while at the same time ensuring we maintain good relationships with our TDS Partners and TDS Customers.  This position can include other duties as assigned or requested.
