    Location: 525 Junction Road, Madison, WI 53717

    Work Schedule: This is a year round internship and we require at least 15 hours per week during core business hours (Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm).

    Responsibilities

    Position Overview:

     

    In this position you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software solutions that directly impact our growing customer base. Your existing problem solving, communication, and organizational skills will be expanded by learning a broad spectrum of technologies and languages that will build a solid foundation for your career. These include but are not limited to:

    • Python
    • Django
    • SQL
    • Java
    • JavaScript and several of its libraries
    • HTML/CSS

    In addition to improving your technical skillset, you will utilize various software development methodologies, acquire production change best practices, and contribute your ideas to a continuous improvement mindset atmosphere.

     

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Desire to apply your academic knowledge through a variety of work assignments
    • Wanting to challenge yourself to be part of the solution through creative ingenuity
    • Looking to evolve your skillset via hands-on assignments
    • Desire to be part of a collaborative team that is designing and developing software
    • Adventurous and not afraid to develop in new languages / technologies

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalency
    • Must be able to complete working hours between M-F 8-5pm
    • All working hours must be completed onsite in a TDS office location.
