    The Administrator – Network Operations Support position may be used for various functions within the Network Operations Support Area. Will be responsible for conducting data integrity audits and associated clean up in a timely fashion. In addition, this role will have some responsibility for: Coordinating responses to questions regarding integrity or interpretation of data that resides in any systems (MARTENS, SABRE, MetaSolv, Switch and other devices) used by all applicable Service Assurance Teams.  Acts as an interface to any departments in support of Order Provisioning and Service Assurance.  This position will act in a day-to-day support capacity based on expertise and needs of the business.  He/She will be called upon to maintain Starnet/Sharepoint/Wiki sites, job aides, test current processes/procedures related to systems, or coordinate data gathering events for reporting purposes.  Included in this area are day-to-day support of functional systems and tools used by all NO teams, associated processes/procedures, project and PAC work.  Input and/or upkeep of systems based on difficulty and expertise will be included.  Employees acting in this capacity may be asked to focus in specific job function sub areas and may be asked to move between sub areas based on the needs of the business. The expectation is that prior expertise/knowledge already exists allowing for immediate ability to handle requirements.

     

    **Please note:  We can hire this position as an Administrator or Sr. Administrator - Network Operations Support. Requirements for each position are listed in the qualifications section. We will assess applicants based on skills set and years of relevant experiences.**

    Responsibilities

    • Administer data integrity audits for any major systems appropriate for the Network Operations Teams.  This involves data collection from several systems (MARTENS, SABRE, MetaSolv, Switch and other devices), interpretation of the data and the investigation of discrepancies.  Furthermore, this data must be translated in order to update all systems with the final resolution of data, updating any inaccuracies and identifying potential fixes.  All actions taken in this regard are determined independently and affect our end-state customer.
    • 1st level support for proper utilization of various applications/systems and the surrounding processes used by NO Teams:
      • UTS, MetaSolv, Customer Link, MARTENS, CTT, DSM, RMS, Workflow, Access Database, Fleetmatics, DAVAR, Clarity,  and the Control Audit Tool.
      • Review fallout and issues, review and/or manipulate  reports, incorporate changes as needed, interpret results, and makes recommendations for improved performance related to functional systems (ex: DSM or UTS fall out)
      • System Table upkeep and entry based on system and requested updates
      • Direct support requests to appropriate teams for timely completion as needed
    • Participate with the output of the data integrity audits:  request or execute data corrections, complete root cause identification of errors, propose multiple solutions for error avoidance, and complete high level cost analysis of proposals
    • System Testing related to releases, upgrades, patches, PAC, projects/etc – systems previously listed.
    • Assist with entry level report creation as directed by Senior Leadership      
    • Participate in the creation of audit processes, , suggestions for process optimization, documentation of estimated financial impact of findings.
    • Manage  NetOps Starnet, Sharepoint, or Wiki sites; update the share directory or call out procedures as needed. May be called upon to be a subject matter and technical expert for development, creation & activation of site pages; Create and document back office procedures

    Qualifications

    Administrator - Network Operations:

    • Associate’s degree or Higher OR 2+ years professional work experience.
    • 2+ years of professional work experience working with key telecommunications systems. 

    Sr. Administrator - Network Operations Support:

    • Associate Degree or higher OR 2+ years professional work experience.
    • 3+ years of professional work experience in supporting the development of technical standards or supporting a large database or computer application(s)

    Other Qualifications:

    • 2+ years experience providing excellent customer service
    • 2+ years experience documenting processes and procedures
    • Data Network or OSP Network records experience preferred
    • Broad working knowledge of TDS  OSP network, databases, operating procedures, and computer applications Highly detail oriented
    • Highly developed PC skills, including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access

    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Effective Verbal/Written Communications
    • Willingness to work and make decisions in a rapidly changing and evolving environment
    • Ability to learn/understand multiple system platforms
