The Associate Manager- Accounting provides leadership and direct supervision to the Accounting team, including hiring, performance management, establishment of metrics, reporting, employee development, and coaching.
In addition to leadership and direct supervision role, this position is responsible for managing the activities to ensure compliance with internal controls and executing general accounting activities, including the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and in preparing financial statements and reports. TDS Telecom has a complex structure with over one hundred legal entities. Associate Managers are assigned responsibility for multiple legal entities across all TDS Telecom business segments. (e.g. Wireline, Cable and HMS.) Specific responsibilities may vary depending upon assignment.
