    If you love sales and talking to people, then consider being a Multi-Channel Sales Specialist with TDS! 

     

    The Multi-Channel Sales Specialist’s is responsible for handling outbound calls, our Chat channel, and sales leads generated from both the web and marketing campaigns.  They are responsible for educating them on current offerings of internet, TV, phone & other products/services available to them. 

     

    Selling is the primary function of this position.  Multi-Channel Advisor uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, submitting orders, and/or troubleshooting.  They may need to answer customer inquiries and resolve problems. 

     

    Details:

    • Start Date:  Wednesday, October 17th.
    • 2 weeks of paid training at our Madison, WI headquarters (8:00am-5:00pm M-F).  All travel costs paid for by TDS.
    • Once training concludes, your shift would be 11:00am-8:00pm EST M-F. Shift shuffles and the option to work from home are both possible after successfully completing the introductory period!

    Compensation:

    • $45,000 average total compensation (base + commission), with top performers making $55k+
    • $1,000 sign-on bonus

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver sales results through providing exceptional customer service
    • Keeps current with promotions, products and technology necessary to exceed or meet sales goals.
    • The Multi-Channel Advisor may also answer customer inquiries from the chat application as well as from all other sales leads via the web.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • 6+ months experience in a sales role
    • 2+ years experience using a PC with various software packages
    • Must follow the TDS attendance guidelines to meet our customers’ needs
