  • Overview

    The Coordinator – Talent Development position is the primary owner of the Learning System and is also responsible for creating and managing the online presence of talent development outside of the system on TDS SharePoint sites.


    The Coordinator – Talent Development designs and develops engaging digital learning assets using a variety of tools including Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, and the Adobe Creative Suite.


    Learning System Management:

    • Manage and maintain Talent Development Learning System (SuccessBuilder Learning). Duties include:
    • Maximize the utilization of the Learning System by researching and recommending new functionality. Review quarterly release options and provide recommendations in partnership with HR Systems Support for implementation. Communicate changes to the training team and TDS employees.
    • Manage the asset inventory within the Learning System, including instructor-led classes and asynchronous media (e.g. eLearning, videos). Ensure asynchronous files are named, stored and coded correctly for error-free upload and playback.
    • Consult with training stakeholders on curriculum/program creation: Assess and provide design recommendations based on Learning System functionality. Create, test and maintain the curriculum/program in the Learning System. Assign the curriculum/program to targeted learner groups.
    • Own all aspects of the Learning System including: assign training courses, log training attendance and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of training records and assets. Generate reports as requested for training records and compliance. Maintain and update Learning System process documentation.
    • Build relationships with HR Systems Support, HR Business Partners and TDS Help Desk and trainers

     Advance Learning System Troubleshooting:

    • Provide Tier III support for Learning System users, trainers and business partners. Research, diagnose and fix issues and bugs not able to be resolved by Tier I (TDS Help Desk) or Tier II (Administrative Assistant – Talent Development).
    • Coordinate further escalation of unresolvable issues to Tier IV (HR Systems Support).
    • Provide content for Tier I - TDS Help Desk support documentation, based on actual troubles and resolutions.


     Design & Development:

    • Generate or revise learning assets that may include eLearning, performance support, and instructional videos using technologies such as Camtasia, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
    • Consult with stakeholders and Senior Developer – Learning Technologies to scope content and create ideal instructional design.
    • Performs testing and QA on all elements of eLearning courses to ensure accuracy and effectiveness


    Required Qualifications

    • Associates Degree or 2+ years’ professional work experience.
    • 1+ years’ experience with learning management systems


    Other Qualifications

    • Experience designing, developing and editing eLearning courses, web pages, videos or other technology-driven assets
    • Experience with capture, authoring, and editing tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Audition, and Premiere Pro) and Articulate Storyline.
    • Proven experience in project management, multi-tasking and time management and organizational skills.
    • Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
    • Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to gather data, produce reports, and make recommendations.
    • Ability to interact with personnel at all levels and in all locations of the organization and represent the company when dealing with external vendors. Therefore, should possess excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and listening skills.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
